My First Market Day!

Yesterday I had a table at the Monkami Art & Craft Market in Croydon.  This was the first market of its kind, at the old fire station, and will be held on the second Saturday of each month.

Thankfully we were inside and out of the wind and rain....!  It was a cold day in Melbourne yesterday.

  This was my little table of goodies.....it's not much, but it's a start! 

The crowds did not overwhelm us and most 'shoppers' only bought little things from the stalls.  The market is expected to gain popularity and momentum in the coming months, leading up to Christmas.

It was a great experience and over the next two months (five weeks of which I will be in Germany) I'll be getting more creative!
